My name is Za’Naysia Jones and I am 14 years old. I enjoy cooking, baking, sleeping, and spending time with friends and family. When I grow up, I want to be a surgeon or a registered nurse. I want to attend either Duke University or UVA. Over the past almost 2 years, Mercy 12 has taught me so much. I have learned about maturity, responsibility, and how to be more social, to name a few. I have gotten way closer to God than I was before. I have learned how to pray and talk to God more, and I thank Him every day. Some of my favorite aspects of Mercy are worship, taking trips, sharing testimonies with others, and having such a close bond with all of my sisters, and mentors. This group has brought me peace, faith, and confidence. My relationship with God is so much better than it was before. I know that I can come to Him and talk to him about whatever I need and I know that He is right beside me listening to me. Even when I’m going through a tough time i've learned that I can overcome stronger and better. Sometimes you have to go through trial and error to become a better person. I’ve learned about God’s Grace and forgiveness, and that no matter what God is there and He loves me unconditionally. Even when I want to give up, God and my support system keeps me going. This group has helped me through different challenges, and I got through them successfully. Being able to be a leader in this group means everything to me. I’m able to lead by example, make my environment a better place, and offer help throughout the world. I love to help others get through tough times, and so much more! One of my favorite memories in Mercy was when we went to Knoxville, Tennessee. Our Mercy Mission was helping a church move into their new building and we decorated their church and children’s church facility. We had so much fun helping and the outcome was AMAZING! We attended church on Sunday and we loved it! Mercy 12 has definitely had a huge impact on my life, and for that, I am truly grateful!!

Hi my name is Valeria Goode, I am 14 years old and I play basketball. My hobbies are cleaning, boxing, and sleeping. When I grow up I want to go to the Air Force, then go to school to become a Labor and Delivery Nurse.
Being a member of Mercy 12 has taught me so much over the past three years . My relationship with God has changed and I have learned how to talk to Him, more than just needing help. On my worst days I play gospel music and just listen and vibe with Him. Being in this group has taught me to love myself more and learn that everyone has gone through things and we all come from different backgrounds.
I love being a leader in this group because It teaches me how to handle things with responsibility. Being a leader in this group is amazing, I get to teach kids how to be a leader in their community, inspiring them to take what they learn and run with it. I want kids to be able to look up to me and do the same things I am able to do.
Mercy 12 is all about spreading love and Christ to children everywhere. My best memory was visiting a group home in Nashville, TN. I got to hear their stories and how God changed their life around. We did devotionals, sang worship songs, cooked, and played games with the residents. Our Mercy Mission was to make goodie bags with hygiene products for all the girls there, it was AMAZING! It is amazing what we can do when we put our trust and life into God’s hands. Trust God with everything, He has a plan for you.
